Information You Provide

• Account Information: When you sign in with a third-party account, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture. We currently support the following sign-in providers: Google, Facebook, and Apple. Note that Apple offers a 'Hide My Email' option; if you use it, we receive a private relay email address instead of your real one, which still allows you to use your account normally.
• Content You Create: Reviews, ratings, and photos you post about restaurants, as well as your profile information.

Information Collected Automatically

• Location: With your permission, we collect your approximate location to show nearby restaurants and calculate distances. You can turn off location access in your device settings at any time.
• Usage Data: We log basic access information (such as device type, browser, and access time) to keep the service running and improve your experience.

Gamification Data

• We record your check-in history, points (XP), level, and earned badges to provide in-app reward features.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the service (sign-in, showing restaurants, saving favorites and reviews)
• Show restaurants near you and calculate distances
• Provide gamification features such as check-ins, points, and badges
• Improve and optimize the app experience
• Keep accounts secure and prevent abuse

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with third parties only in these cases:

• Service Providers: We use the following third-party services to operate the app: Google (account sign-in and map services), Facebook / Meta (account sign-in), Apple (account sign-in), Supabase (data storage), Vercel (app hosting). These providers process data only to the extent needed to provide services to us.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our legitimate interests.
• Public Content: Reviews, ratings, and photos you post are displayed publicly to other users and may show your display name. Please do not include sensitive personal information in public content.

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information. Your data is stored on our service provider's servers (Supabase). However, please note that no method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure.

You have the right to:

• Access and Update: View and edit your profile information at any time.
• Delete Your Account: You may delete your account, and we will remove the associated personal information (except where retention is required by law). To request deletion, contact us at support@deliciousy.io. This includes any personal information obtained through third-party sign-in providers (Google, Facebook, or Apple). Deleting your Deliciousy account removes this information from our systems; it does not affect your account with the third-party provider itself, which you manage directly with them.
• Turn Off Location: Disable it anytime in your device settings.

This service is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we may hold information about a child under 13, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you within the app or via this page. Please review this policy periodically.
